Thursday 16th AprilThis week’s meeting will be in Greno Woods – but at a different location!! Meet in the Car Park off Woodhead Road at 7:30, we will be finished at the same place by approx. 9pm. Please wear clothing suitable for the weather, including boots or trainers with a decent grip, as we’ll be walking quite a distance, and bring a torch! If you’re coming by car, drive past the Scout HQ, then turn right onto Main Street.
Follow Main Street past the Church, Chip Shop and Old Red Lion pub. Keep going for around ¾ mile, where you will find a Car Park on your left, hopefully with a Leader or 2 waiting for you…
Hesley Work DayThanks to all the Explorers who helped out at Hesley last Friday. Between us we managed to make 4 bases for alter fires – not bad as that’s exactly how many had been prepared for us! We reckon we could have done more if there was more stuff available. Thanks to Pam for bringing us our chips for lunch, and Beth for making us laugh with her outrageous outfit… There’s some pictures below if you want to see for yourself! |
