At the weekend we ran a brand new competition, based on the County’s ‘Winter Runaround’. Instead of having to find various HQ and do an activity, the teams navigated their way to landmarks around South Yorkshire and had their photo taken there.

We had three teams entered from Don District Explorer Scouts, and one each from Wharncliffe Network, Danum Network and Don District Leaders.

Everyone involved said they had a great time, and visited places they’d never been to before, or in some cases had never heard of…

Congratulations to the winning teams – ‘Ooh a piece of candy’ and Team Lucy, and commiserations to the losers!

Thanks to the 82^nd for letting us use their HQ to set teams off, the 14^th for using their HQ to gather them back in again, and all the Leaders who helped run the event.
